We were back at Bestival for the third year in a row last weekend running our Tie Dye workshops. It’s always such a fun weekend and this year was no different, loads of tie dye and music and festival food and this year lots and lots of mud!
We were in the Ambient Forest area of the festival in their new Crafty Cabin, we lucked out by having a proper roof over our heads throughout the rain – bonus. Over the weekend we dyed over 300 t-shirts with loads of lovely festival-goers and were helped out by our team of even lovelier helpers. We always need helpers at festivals every year so drop us an email if you’d like to come with us next year!
Everyone always asks us how easy tie dye is to do at home, the answer is SUPER easy! All you need is some Dylon dye, salt, a t-shirt and warm water. We use all the brightest Dylon colours but you can get them in a whole range, everything from neutrals to brights. Hannah’s fave is the Goldfish Orange and I like Intense Violet. The most popular colour at Bestival was Ocean Blue.
Thank you so much to everyone who came and dyed with us at Bestival, we hope you all love your t-shirts. If you missed out this year then we’ve got a Tie Dye workshop at Drink, Shop, Do next week, we’d love to see you at that!
See you next year, Bestival!
