DIY Photo Wall

This week we were lucky enough to spend an hour or so catching up with the lovey Jojo from Miss Jojangles. We met at Kings Cross station and chatted all things craft over hot drinks and pastries. We love her blog and thought that this week we’d do a ‘Try it Tuesday’ from one of her posts.

In case you don’t know, ‘Try it Tuesday’ was set up by the girls at Trends With Benefits and is an opportunity for bloggers to try out other bloggers’ ideas – get involved if you can! Jojo made a pretty instagram wall in her room a couple of months ago and we thought we’d do something similar.

We were recently sent a pack of Printics which worked perfectly for this project. Printic is an app where you can order photos straight from your phone. It’s super easy to use and the photos come in a cute orange envelope all the way from Paris! We also made a washi tape border around our photo collection. This frames the prints and makes them look like more of a permanent fixture, it also comes off really easily so when we eventually leave the house we won’t have any hassle taking it off!

We chose to put our photos on a wooden door in our living room. The doors are used to separate the living and dining rooms but we just have them permanently open and pushed back against the walls, the wood made a nice background for the photos!

Can you spot some of our old projects in there?

We’ve also got an exciting giveaway with Printic coming up in the next couple of days so keep your eyes peeled for that! Perhaps you could make your own photo wall?!
