Last weekend my Brother hand delivered a load of Liberty Tana Lawn that I bought. Liberty is completely out of my budget, so I have only ever treated myself to a couple of little fat quarters before. I don’t know if any of you know about the factory shop in Lancaster where Liberty print their Tana Lawn fabric. I found this little video by Liberty that shows you around the factory and the printing process.
The factory and it’s little shop are a short drive outside Lancaster centre. My Brother has been meaning to go for ages for me and finally made it up there before he came home to Germany for a holiday.
I LOVE everything in the bag! They have some rules in the shop: max 20m per person and only 2 of the little £2 bundles each, but I got a lovely selection of fabric and I am so excited to turn it into something!
One of my all time favourite Liberty prints is Strawberry Thief designed by William Morris and I scooped up a couple of metres of this.
Another I am particularly excited to use is this pink Hera. How pretty is that?!
Keep an eye out for some little Liberty projects appearing over the next few weeks. I’ve had a bit of a slow down on posts lately so I’m excited to start back up again.
