Always wanted to make a bra? Now’s your chance! We’ve just announced two brand new dates for our Bra Making Workshops in February 2017 – just three months away. Each workshop will be a full day of sewing led by us and you’ll be using a Madalynne x Simplicity pattern. You’ll come away with a fully formed, beautiful bra and have learned all the basics of bra making to be able to make more.
In the Saturday class we’ll be making a Madalynne x Simplicity 8228 pattern, a halterneck style bralette. On Sunday we’ll be making a full-cup underwired bra, the Madalynne x Simplicity 8229 pattern. Both of these classes are suitable for anyone who can use a machine confidently, you don’t need to have any prior bra-making experience.
We’ll be teaching the Madalynne x Simplicity 8228 halterneck bralette in the Saturday class.
We recommend you bring your own machine to the class so you can get used to the techniques on the machine you’ll be using at home. We do have machines that you can borrow though if that’s easier for you.
We’ll be making the Madalynne x Simplicity 8229 underwired bra in the Sunday class.
There will be breakfast, lunch and snacks provided and the classes will be held in our studio just behind Kings Cross. This will be more than just a workshop, it will be a whole day’s sewing experience. Interested? We thought you might be!
You can find all of the workshop details on our shop here and if you have any questions about the classes just get in touch with us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We’re also happy to arrange payment plans so get in touch to discuss options.
We hope to see you at a class in February!
