You may have seen on twitter that we’ve got our first workshops up on sale! We have decided to start off with some project focussed workshops and figured what better than our all time fave make – bomber jackets!
We’re going to be using the Papercut Rigel Bomber pattern in the classes. As anyone who has ever used a Papercut pattern before knows, they’re pretty bloody brill. It’s a classic bomber shape with welt pockets (don’t be afraid!) and ribbing around the waist and, wrists and neckline. The pattern doesn’t include a lining, but our class will, and you’ll leave with a complete, lined bomber jacket.
Who is this class for? So long as you are comfortable using a sewing machine then this is the class for you! Our class is suitable for beginners to advanced sewers who want to sew up a new garment.
What machines do you use? We have recently started working with Janome and we will provide Janome CXL 301 machines in the class. If you’d rather bring your own machine along to use then that is fine too!
Where are the workshops going to be held? All of our workshops will be held in our studio by Kings Cross. We’ll send out a map and instructions when you book!
What is included in the workshop fee? The workshop fee will include all tools and a copy of the Papercut pattern. We’ll also provide breakfast, tea and coffee and an afternoon tea later on! Drinks will also be provided throughout the day. There will be a 1 hour lunch break so you’ll have a chance to explore Granary Square or take a walk up the canal to Camden.
When is this workshop? The first bomber jacket workshop will be held on Saturday 11th June from 10am – 5.30pm.
