Sewing Up Our Knicker Making Kit

When we launched our Knicker Making kits we went wild making knickers. We tried and tested every size and print we have and tested and re-tested the pattern. Problem was we were so busy making them that we forgot to take any pictures. We just have bunches of finished knickers and no in-progress pictures to show. This week I decided to right this and made one more pair – a little Valentine’s inspired perhaps!

If you haven’t already seen, the kit comes with everything you need to make your knickers. A reusable pattern in UK sizes 6-16, 100% cotton lawn fabric, elastic, gusset jersey and instruction booklet. We make all of the kits ourselves in London so our studio gets pretty busy on packing day.

I picked the small pink floral print which looks so cute made up, it’s probably my favourite. All of our prints are beautiful though and the Sevenberry cotton lawn we use is so soft it makes for the fanciest of pants!

You need a sewing machine to make the knickers but you only need to be able to do a basic straight and zig-zag stitch, nothing tricky at all. If you’re a confident sewer you can whip them up in around an hour, I finished these in a short afternoon.

What do you think of them? Is this your favourite print too? Hannah likes the grey daisies best.

Order your own kit here and don’t forget to share your finished knickers with us, we’d love to see them!
