Try It Tuesday: Liberty Print Hot Water Bottle Cover

Yesterday I had loads of things to do, but decided to ignore my to-do list and do a bit of sewing instead… I LOVE reading the Liberty craft blog (R wrote a post about it a while back) and spotted this Liberty print hot water bottle cover tutorial by Chloe over at Stone Cold Comfort. This was a new blog find for me and I’m very happy to have discovered it!

For those of you who don’t know about Try It Tuesday here’s a little intro. The girls over at Trends with Benefits suggested it to us as a great way to try out each others tutorials and share it in a post, on a Tuesday of course. It’s a great way to get to know other bloggers and experiment with some new projects, too.

I don’t usually follow tutorials step-by-step, but used this one the whole way through (except from missing out some tacking steps.. I’m an impatient crafter). It took a couple of hours but it’s such a good way to use up some of my Liberty fabric and was a great afternoon project. Head on over to the Liberty craft blog and check it out!

This turned out so great! I love the tiny flower print fabric that you used and the trim is really lovely. I could do with a hot water bottle about now! xx
