Wool Week Wrap Up

So – how were your Wool Weeks?!

Last Thursday we attended a Rowan knitting class and had a go at cable knitting for the first time (not such a great success, but practise makes perfect right?!) We’re going to try and finish the snoods we started and share them with you soon, so keep an eye out.

Can you spot who joined us at the class?!

We really enjoyed all of the events that Knit Nation put on throughout the week, we had a great time and will definitely keep an eye out for them next year. Did you see the window display with live knitting from Daisy Lowe and Oliver Proudlock?

TOFT (who we featured in this post) were there throughout the week turning the whole display into a woolly haven (with the help of others)… this is the final result!

And after!

We saw Stuart from the Great British Sewing Bee joining in too!

Wool Week has set us off knitting again and even though the weather is mild, we know it will all come in handy when Winter hits London. Autumn is our favourite season to dress for – so many cosy layers and great knits!Β We are starting a new weekly style post where we will be showing you how you can easily incorporate homemade items into your wardrobe, the first one will be up soon!

Hope you’re all having a great week!

PS. We have written a guest post for the Liberty Craft Blog this week! It’s a tutorial on how to make a simple quilted baby blanket – come and have a look!
