This ex-designer fabric is a silk crepe de chine. It has the characteristic gentler crepe texture but is still very soft and lightweight. It's very drapey and has fantastic movement. Mostly opaque and therefore a little bit sheer. Has a wonderful silky handle! From UK silk manufacturer Biddle Sawyer. Would be perfect for a lining in dresses, skirts, blazers, or for a lovely basic button down blouse!
