This ex-designer trim is a shoulder pad. They are a great thickness, made up of a few layers of felt around a wadding centre. The felt has a nice stiffness so would be good under the weight of a heavier wool. The layers have been basted together to easily take out the padding, to accommodate the thickness you would like. Versatile for an 80's power shoulder jacket, down to a staple winter coat!
