This ex-designer fabric is a cotton shirting. The piqué weave is classic for polos and shirting, as it has a slightly raised weave and texture, and is strong.  It has a lovely cotton handle with a nice drape. Light to medium weight, and would take dye really well so could be used as a base if you wanted to experiment! Would love to see a classic button up or fitted summer dress!
