Shop Assistant 

We’re looking for a fabric lover to join our team!

Role: We’re recruiting for a Shop Assistant position, working in our shop serving customers and packing online orders. This role is a fixed hours position for 14 hours per week total, 12pm-3:30pm on Saturdays and Sundays and 10am-5pm on Mondays. There is often the potential for overtime and we hope that the role will expand to be more days per week in future. This is a physical role that requires standing for much of the day and lifting fabric rolls.

Pay: London Living Wage, currently £14.80ph, with regular pay reviews.

Perks: Every member of our team also receives a staff discount and two team sewing days per year.

Skills: You must have excellent customer service skills and be confident chatting to customers about sewing and fabrics. Previous experience in a retail role (especially with fabric) is an advantage but the right knowledge and skillset is the most important thing. You must be reliable, have excellent knowledge of sewing and fabrics and able to work in person from our studio at 32 Bocking Street, E8 3FP. The right candidate will be excited to work in our creative and inspiring team!
