Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
At The New Craft House sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. By arming our customers with the knowledge and tools to sew a more sustainable handmade wardrobe, we're fighting against fast fashion culture and the environmental impact of it.
All of our fabric is deadstock sourced from local designers. Much of this surplus fabric would have been destined for landfill or in some cases burnt. You can shop our fabric knowing that you're helping to reduce waste in the fashion industry.
Our workshops focus on teaching skills to make every item in your wardrobe - from lingerie to jeans, activewear and swimwear. We want our customers to be able to sew a long-lasting, sustainable and well-loved handmade wardrobe.
All of our fabric waste in the studio is repurposed and we use minimal compostable packaging for our online orders. We're always looking for ways to reduce waste - if you have any ideas please do get in touch at firstname.lastname@example.org.
