This ex-designer fabric is a sumptuous velvet. It's incredibly soft and luxurious. It has a slightly crushed finish, it came from the designer in a box, so the pile has slight pressure marks. This should revive with steam and brushing! It's opaque, with such a beautiful sheen. Has a light to medium pile that is wonderful to handle. Lightweight and with a beautiful drape and lovely movement. Perfect for a dress or even a blouse!
