This ex-designer fabric is a lovely silk twill. Zibeline, also called mikado silk, is a densely woven cloth usually made of wool or silk, that has a crisp, sturdy hold without adding weight to the cloth. It's in an ivory colour that makes it perfect for big bridal gowns if you want structure and shape without too much weight. It has a gentle lustre and a silky, comfortable handle. Light to medium weight with graceful movement. Can't wait to see it on a wedding dress or fitted bustier top!
