This ex-designer fabric is a red spacer mesh.  Spacer mesh is a technical fabric made up of three layers that are all knitted simultaneously.  The middle layer is a monofilament yarn that creates the spongy cushion feel.  The back is a plain weave whilst the front has a texture of tiny mesh holes.  Would be great for accessories and outerwear!
