This ex-designer fabric is a rich velvet. It's soft but slightly woolly to the touch and has a beautiful sheen with a structured canvas backing. The pile is dense but doesn't show marks when rubbed the against the grain. Medium weight and a wonderful mix of structure and great drape. Gorgeous for home interiors, we'd love to see this on an ottoman or chair!
