This ex-designer fabric is a lovely modal. Modal is a semi-synthetic fibre made from beech tree pulp, and feels much like a viscose or cupro. It mimics silk, is more absorbent than cotton, and very drapey. It's very lightweight and opaque. It's so soft and has a sand-washed handle. Beautiful as a staple bias dress or skirt!
