This ex-designer fabric is a gorgeous faille taffeta. Faille is similar to a twill, but rather than running diagonal, the lines go straight across the weft, so the micro weave is even more subtle. It has a subtly textured and sturdy handle, and is lightweight with a great structure natural to taffeta. Such a luxurious fabric with a great light sheen! Opaque, with a nice crispness. In a sublime cotton and silk blend for an amazing softness. Fantastic quality! Incredible for special occasion wear, as well as tops, dresses, and bags!
