This ex-designer fabric is a luxurious wool. It's a lightweight, plain weave suiting, with a wonderful blend of wool and super fine mohair. Mohair is from the Angora goat, and is characteristic for it's it's silkier, finer hairs that are wonderfully soft and give an elevated finish. It's breathable and long-wearing, while still insulating. Has a wearable, lovely handle and a very light sheen finish, and drapes well. In a darker, true shade of black, a opaque but lets some light through due to it's finer weave. Such a gorgeous cloth for a special project! Perfect for a suit jacket and trouser set! From a very high-end, famous London designer known for tailoring!
