This ex-designer fabric is a jacquard. It's a blue and white gingham check, with a looser weave that still is sturdy and is very soft! It has a more pronounced textured weave on the topside, and a flatter reverse. Either side can be used!  It has a gentle structure and nice drape. Light to medium weight, with a lovely handle that feels like a blanket! Great for a light jacket that could be interfaced, or even a co-ord set!
