This ex-designer trim is a large novelty satin fabric covered shank button. The backing is a plastic with a loop for attaching to be used as a functional or decorative shank button.  These clown style oversized fun buttons are perfect for making a big statement on coats, jackets and cardigans or as a fun polka dot style decoration. They would also be great as a detail on upholstery or furnishing projects.
