This petite bag is the kind of addition that every outfit needs; easily tucked under
your arm with just the right amount of space for all of your essentials. It’s super
cute, easy to sew up and is the perfect introduction to bag making. Experiment
with different fabric options and make it with or without the ruffle frill, we know
you’re going to have so many ideas for this pattern! The finished bag is fully lined,
has a zip closure and an internal pocket. The strap is also padded with wadding.

The Lottie Bag is suitable for confident beginner sewists. 

Finished measurements: 24cm wide x 11.5cm tall, 47cm strap length

Fabric requirements:

Suitable for any non-stretch fabric and would work in a range of fabrics. A nylon or ripstop would be great for a sportier look, a duchess satin would make an amazing fancy event bag and denim would be a cool, classic style.

With ruffles: 

• Main fabric: 1.2m x 60cm
• Lining: 70cm x 45cm
• Wadding: 10cm x 55cm

Without ruffles: 

• Main fabric: 70cm x 55cm
• Lining: 70cm x 45cm
• Wadding: 10cm x 55cm

Additional supplies: 

• Matching thread
• 1x 26cm zip
• Interfacing optional (if you want a more structured finished bag we recommend interfacing the main bag and strap pieces)
