This ex-designer fabric is a jacquard. It's a textured cloth with a slub-like jacquard weave. The risen slub threads have a slight sheen, which gives it a bit of a sateen finish. It has a light structure that would hold shape well. Lightweight and opaque, lets only a little light in. Has a lovely, elevated handle. Perfect for a fancier top or dress, or even trousers!
