This ex-designer fabric is a unique chiffon. It's a black chiffon with a red heavy embroidered stripe, which looks like a braid, down the warp. It's semi-sheer, medium weight, and has an interesting drape with a bit of structure from the stripes. Has an interesting handle that reflects the visual texture. Would make such a cool dress or top overlay, or even curtains!
