This ex-designer fabric is a sequin mesh. Translucent sequins are woven onto a black mesh with silver lurex threads. The effect is quite unique, with a greyish-white tint that shimmers. Has about 50% mechanical stretch, width-ways. The sequins are good quality and stay on well! They are woven on quite densely for great coverage, but the mesh and translucence keep it sheer for the most part. Light to medium weight with a heavier drape, and moulds around the body so well. Very eye-catching! This fabric would be perfect for a party or festival dress, skirt, or top!
